FURTHER STUDY
In September 2020 she started her master's degree in international business at Loughborough University in England. "As I wrap up my four years at University of Southern California [in May 2020], I'm so excited to start a new chapter and move to England. I have loved being able to combine academics and athletics, so I am super grateful to have the opportunity to continue my studies as well as compete at a high level at Loughborough University. I'm just happy to be able to do a master's. It's not possible in the US [to swim collegiately while doing a graduate degree], and in Sweden, there's really no schools where you can combine sport and school on any level after high school." (LinkedIn profile, 06 Mar 2021; aquainspiration.se, 26 Jan 2021; SwimSwam YouTube channel, 26 Oct 2020; swimswam.com, 22 Apr 2020)

RELATIONSHIP WITH SISTER
Her younger sister Sophie has also represented Sweden in swimming, including at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. "We've always swam together. We're both lucky, she's a breaststroker and I do everything except for breaststroke, which is really nice because we actually don't compete against each other. Swimming in relays together is so much fun." (fina.org, 26 Jul 2019)
