General
FEAR OF FLYING
She says flying has been on of her biggest fears. "It's probably the worst thing a professional athlete can have. I never use to be this bad [speaking in 2020], but as I have gotten older I'm getting worse. It gets better when I fly with teammates or friends, but when sitting next to a stranger I really start to panic!" (olympics.com, 09 Oct 2020)

SHOW OF SUPPORT
After winning a silver in 100m butterfly at 2019 World Championship in Gwangju, Republic of Korea, she and other winners offered words of support written on their hands to Japanese swimmer Rikako Ikee, who was at the time suffering from leukaemia. "We wanted to send her a message to show her she was deep in our thoughts. We hope her recovery goes as smoothly as possible so she can return quickly to doing what she loves." (olympic.org, 16 Aug 2019)
