"My parents wanted me to learn to swim, so I took some swimming classes and I enjoyed it. I also tried dancing and volleyball, but my parents were like, 'Okay let's try to keep going with swimming'. They never forced it on me so, if I decided I didn't want to practise, they were fine with that." (Spunky Spectrum Sports YouTube channel, 21 Apr 2021)

FURTHER EDUCATION
After she graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychology at Florida Gulf Coast University [FGCU] in Fort Myers, FL, United States of America in April 2021, she went on to study a master's degree in educational leadership at the same university and continued to swim for FGCU. "I am so excited to have the opportunity to compete another year for FGCU and to have another chance to race at the NCAAs. After the NCAAs were cancelled in 2020, and juggling so many unknowns in 2020/21, I am really looking forward to one last year of competing hard and racing as an eagle. FGCU is home to me, and I feel incredibly lucky that I get to experience an extra year with my teammates and coaches who have become my family away from Hungary." (swimswam.com, 07 May 2021)
