HEART ISSUES
He was diagnosed with the Bouveret-Hoffmann syndrome [a type of irregular heartbeat that increases heart rate] after presenting arrhythmia symptoms at the 2018 European Championships in Glasgow, Scotland. He underwent an endoscopy surgery in his heart in September 2018 but the syndrome was not fully resolved. He underwent a second surgery in December 2018 which fully solved the problem. Besides a degree in sports science he also has a diploma for mental training from the Clermont Auvergne University in France.
