She and her crewmate Ali Ten Hove began sailing together in 2017. She switched class from sailing in the 29er class at youth level to partner with Ten Hove in the 49erFX class. "The largest contributing factor to my success is my sailing partner Ali. There is no one I would rather be on this journey with and I can attest my current success to her being with me every step of the way. We quickly realised that we meshed well as teammates and believed we could quickly become competitive."
