She began windsurfing at age 10, and started competing at age 13. (World Sailing profile, 29 Feb 2020)

She was involved in rhythmic gymnastics and triathlon before she decided to focus on windsurfing. "In the end, I had to choose one because there were just too many training sessions and I could not fit them all into my schedule. The director of the sailing club in Eilat, Roni Meir, saw me training and recommended I try windsurfing. I liked the feeling of being alone on the sea, the calmness from the surroundings, the warm air of the Red Sea, which is good weather for windsurfing.
