General Interest

General
OCCUPATION
He is an Angus beef farmer and owns a ranch in Stanthorpe, QLD, Australia. He first became interested in farming after working with his uncles in Australia's Northern Territory at a young age. "I have a property in regional Queensland and produce Angus cattle. I spend as much time there as I can because I love working on the land and seeing something come out of the ground. I get paid to play rugby, but I also have cattle and can find it tough to manage." (canberratimes.com.au, 25 Mar 2020; australianbeef.com.au, 01 Nov 2019; rugby.com.au, 01 Nov 2019)

CHARITY WORK
He and his partner Charlotte worked with charities raising money for farmers and communities impacted by the Australian floods and fires of late 2019 and early 2020. "When the floods came through north-west Queensland and then the fires in south-east Queensland, my partner and I knew we needed to help." (australianbeef.com.au, 01 Nov 2019)
