"Basically, I wanted to play volleyball. But it was my PE teacher who encouraged me to take a club license after my debut in school." She has played rugby union [15-a-side] in France and England but says she always enjoyed rugby sevens. "I really liked the union championship in England. I played three seasons there. There was always the appeal of sevens on the side and when I had the opportunity to play World Rugby tournaments and get signed to a sevens contract, I didn't think about it. It's more than a dream. If I had been told in high school that I would cross the world thanks to rugby, I wouldn't have believed it.
