"I started rugby because it was compulsory in my college. With my physical qualities, since I came from athletics, it was easier for me. Indeed, running with a ball is different but not complicated. Then what pushed me towards the [AC Bobigny 93 rugby union] club was our coach who was both at the university and in Bobigny. I didn't really want to at first, but I ended up giving it a try. It was the appeal of the high level that made me stay in the beginning and then I had the pleasure of playing on a team. I met some great girls and it was really them who made me sign from year to year." (avantgarde.fr, 17 Aug 2018)

To compete at the Olympic Games in 2020 and 2024. (lavantgarde.fr, 17 Aug 2018)
:
"Despite the fact that this is an Olympic discipline, we are not featured as much as we would like or, in any case, as the girls and boys of the XV [rugby union] are. Our only goal is to show the media that we are worth watching. But it goes through results, it is built little by little." (leparisien.fr, 11 May 2019)

OLYMPIC FOOTSTEPS
In 2021 she spoke about following in her parents footsteps by competing at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. Her parents both previously competed at the Olympic Games, her mother Jeanne Ngo Minyemeck represented Cameroon in 1988, while her father Walter Ciofani represented France in 1984. "It is a source of pride to become an Olympian. We will integrate into the elite of sport and I will join my parents in a new family and be able to share one more thing with them. I was imbued with this Olympic history from a very young age, especially by my father. From a very young age, I was immersed in the quest for performance and high level with my sisters. We always trained more than others. Our parents explained to us that it was the consecration of years of work, of daily sacrifices between work and training. They had fought to be able to play high level sport. For my parents, the Games were the holy grail and we were brought up with this phrase, 'You have to go to the Olympics, you have to go to the Olympics'." (ffr.fr, 20 Jul 2021)
