After finishing university she began working for a law firm in Boston, but was not yet ready to give up on her sporting ambitions. A friend from high school recommended she try rugby. After a year of working, I decided to commit to playing rugby full-time and accepted a contract as an athlete with USA Rugby in order to pursue a lifelong dream of being an Olympian.
