She competed in a number of sports growing up before focusing on rugby. "I started competitive cheerleading at 10 years old. I made it to a very high level of tumbling and competed in the Cheerleading World Championships in Florida. While cheering I also competed for my middle school's track team where I broke the school record for the 100m dash at Upper Merion. In middle school I also played basketball, field hockey, and wrestled. Once I got to high school I stuck to track but my love for it began to die.
