Her younger sister Phoebe Spoors has competed in rowing internationally for New Zealand, including at the world championships in 2019 and 2018. Her other sister and Phoebe's twin, Grace, has also competed in the sport at junior international level, and won bronze in the women's four at the 2011 Junior World Championships in Eton, England.
