PARTNERSHIP
She and her crewmate Olivia Loe first partnered in double sculls in 2017. The pair won world championship gold at their first attempt at the 2017 edition in Sarasota, FL, United States of America. They were also unbeaten that year, winning the two World Cup regattas they entered and a Henley Royal Regatta. They went unbeaten at two more World Cup events in 2018 before their streak was broken at the 2018 World Championships in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, where they finished second. Another gold followed at a World Cup regatta in June 2019 before they won another world championship title in Linz Ottensheim, Austria, in September that year. "We hadn't spent a lot of time together but the time we had over the 2017 campaign was really valuable. We have learned so much by complementing each other pretty well." (nzherald.co.nz, 17 Aug 2019; rowingnz.kiwi, 01 Jan 2018; worldrowing.com, 01 Oct 2017, 16 Sep 2018, 23 Jan 2019, 01 Sep 2019; stuff.co.nz, 20 Sep 2017)

INVENTOR
She invented an oar-carrying product called 'OarGo' after competing at World Cup events. "I saw this big mess of oars one day and it seemed all nations were complacent in storing oars. After observing the Australians, I saw how neatly they stored their oars so I invented a carrying apparatus for them. Each product can carry four sweep oars or two pairs of sculls, which are easier to balance when carrying, and are protected when being moved. It's a simpler solution than using your hands or shoulders." (rowperfect.co.uk, 28 May 2019; rowingnz.kiwi, 01 Jan 2018)
