"The first day that I was actually able to go in a boat, I was with three others, what I viewed at the time to be very experienced people. I was not dressed appropriately for the weather. I didn't have enough layers and it was really cold. I cried so much afterwards, I hated it. But I don't know, something made me stick with it."
