EARLY DAYS
At age 14 she moved to Orsova, Romania, to begin training at the National Rowing Centre. She then considered quitting the sport after relocating to Snagov, Romania, at age 18 to train with the national youth team. "After four years in Orsova I moved to Snagov to train but contemplated giving up the sport after my first year. I felt it wasn't for me as I wasn't getting the results or medals I wanted. In 2013, when I started to work with Mircea Roman, the results started to come." (gsp.ro, 23 Nov 2017)
