NATIONAL TRAINING SPLIT
In 2019 he decided to train with his father Wojciech, instead of the Polish national team under coach Miroslaw Blachnio, who had been appointed the previous year. "I much prefer training with my dad. He has known me all my life. Now [in 2019] we have a new coach on the national team who is trying to lead the judokas in his own way." His father is not able to attend all of his international competitions due to costs, which he says can be challenging. "It's the two of you who step up to fight, because the coach constantly advises you and analyses things during a match. When you stand in the box just before the fight, you feel supported." OCCUPATION
Alongside judo, he works as a police officer in Poland. "I had to start work because of my financial situation. Although I have won medals at major events, I don't have sponsors.
