Previous role:

He was head coach of the Almere men's team in the Netherlands from 2017 to 2020. He has also served as assistant coach and head coach of the Dutch U18/U19 men's hockey team and as an assistant coach to the Dutch women's national indoor hockey team. He was assistant coach of the Canadian men's national hockey team before taking over as head coach.

At club level for Rot-Weiss Koln in Germany, the roles are reversed with Gademan serving as assistant coach and Henning as head coach. "It says a lot about Andre's character to make me an assistant [at Koln]. I'm not the easiest assistant. I can hardly keep my mouth shut. He was open to that. We are both opinionated and stubborn coaches. We understand each other in that respect.
