General Interest

General
CLUB FAREWELL
After winning the 2019 Metropolitano A title in Argentina with club Banco Provincia, he put an end to his career at club level. "I am so happy. I'm leaving the club feeling empty because I gave it all to them, and they also did. I'm so happy of having been a member of Banco and leaving them at the top." (DEPORTV YouTube channel, 12 Nov 2019)

STINT IN NETHERLANDS
From 2008 to 2010 he played for Dutch side Den Bosch which he considers was one of the best experiences in his career. "I had rejected some offers but when this one came I couldn't say no. [The Dutch hockey league] is hockey's NBA. It was one of the best experiences in my life, not only in my career but for the fact of living in a country where everything works, public transportation, trains, everything is so organised. My head made some sort of click." (elgrafico.com.ar, 11 May 2017)

COACH
He has coached goalkeeping at various clubs in Argentina, as well as at Den Bosch in the Netherlands. He has also managed a goalkeeper school in Argentina. (LinkedIn Profile, 02 Jun 2016; elgrafico.com.ar, 11 May 2017)

TATTOO
After winning gold at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, he got a tattoo on his right arm with the Rio 2016 logo, the Olympic rings and the word 'gold' on it. "Tattoos are for forever and I will leave this world being an Olympic champion." (lanacion.com.ar, 31 Mar 2017)
