CHANGE OF DIRECTION
She says that after missing out on the 2012 Olympic Games in London, the national team decided to change their way of working. "In 2013 this generation, with a few years less, talked to the staff about where we wanted the national team to go and we committed to taking on a professional mentality without economic resources and doing everything in our power with individual and group training to improve things in the future and make sure everything we did was worth it. Little by little we worked, we increased our training hours and in the end, after practically five years, the results came and now we are reaping the rewards." (Tododeporte Asturias YouTube channel, 16 Oct 2019)

FURTHER STUDIES
She did a master's degree in sports management at the Garrigues Centre of Studies. She also has taken a course in sports law, business and finance at the ISDE Law and Business School in Madrid, Spain. (LinkedIn profile, 01 Jan 2020; Tododeporte Asturias YouTube channel, 16 Oct 2019)
