RETURN TO HOCKEY
When she discovered she was pregnant in October 2012 she contemplated retiring from hockey, but found she missed playing so much while waiting to give birth that she decided to return. She gave birth to her daughter Sophie in May 2013 and had planned to return to training in December 2013, but was able to return as soon as July. The help she and her husband received from her parents, teammates and child-minders meant she was able to return to international level competition.
