He admits that combining full-time work as a doctor and his hockey career is not an easy task, especially having a small child, therefore he plans that the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo will be the last event with the national team. "With my family we decided that I will continue playing in the national team until the Olympic Games. I probably wouldn't have gone on for the European championships, but the Olympic Games are something very special. If you have experienced this and have also been successful, you can say that it is addictive. You live so long, but you will never have another chance like this.
