He was head coach of the Indian men's hockey team from 2017 to 2018. He worked as head coach of the Dutch women's hockey team between 2014 and 2015, and was trainer and coach of the Den Bosch men's hockey team from 2012 to 2014. He has spent time working in roles with the Dutch youth teams for both men and women, and held coaching positions at Dutch hockey clubs such as Amsterdam, Tilburg, and Maakt Onderling Plezier [MOP]. From 2007 to 2008 he was an assistant coach with the Spanish men's hockey team.
