INJURY TROUBLE
She sustained injuries to the anterior cruciate ligament [ACL] in her knee in both 2016 and 2018. "It has been a long, hard journey back to the team after suffering my second major injury in 2018. It was an important year in terms of the tournaments. Missing the 2018 World Cup, the 2018 Asian Games and the 2018 Champions Trophy was a major blow for me psychologically. They were all major tournaments and any player would want to represent their country, but it wasn't meant to be. It was a very difficult period for me personally as I was low on confidence, and when you are injured, most of the time you are supposed to train alone with your trainer. There were times when I would doubt myself and think about the what-ifs, but the support I received from my family, support staff and my teammates was immense." (olympicchannel.com, 21 Oct 2019; aninews.in, 19 Sep 2019)

OCCUPATION
In 2010 she began working for Central Mumbai Railway in India as a junior ticket collector. (Facebook page, 10 Feb 2020)
