She made her debut for the India senior national team in 2017, but she did not become a regular in the squad until two years later. "I lacked confidence when I played for the senior team in 2017. I was scared and that reflected in my game. It was not a memorable debut for me. It was at the 2018 Youth Olympic Games where I really stepped up my game. I feel the experience I gained from this multi-discipline event was a turning point. The seniors in the team have really helped me improve my performance.
