General Interest

General
MOTHERHOOD
In 2018 she took a break from handball after becoming a mother to her son Wilton. She returned to the sport in 2019. "The focus is not only on handball. When it's handball, there is an extreme focus on it, then you get to come home and enjoy family life and think of something else. It's a good combo. I had had injuries before that I had rehabilitated well from and I wanted to do everything to get here again after becoming a mother." In 2020 she moved to Romania, to join club CS Minaur Baia Mare, with Wilton, after separating from her partner and Wilton's father, and found her new club supportive. "When you change clubs, you think a lot about yourself. Now Wilton was also something to think about. There were so many thoughts swirling around how it would go. I was very hard on the club and told them that if Wilton does not thrive, I will not thrive and then I cannot stay. They have been very responsive to it and have asked almost every day how I and Wilton are doing. So there have never been any problems." (gp.se, 14 May 2020; aftonbladet.se, 05 Dec 2020)

CLUB TRANSFER
In February 2021 it was announced that she would join Hungarian club Gyori Audi ETO KC for the 2021/22 season. She had played for CS Minaur Baia Mare in the Romanian Liga Nationala during the 2020/21 season. (gyorietokc.hu, 14 Feb 2021)

HEARING ISSUE
She is completely deaf in her left ear. "There's not a lot of people that know it. In the team I've told everyone so they don't think I'm ignoring them when I can't hear them calling. If there is a lot of noise there is a lot of pointing. But then you can always read the game and that way I know what to do." (aftonbladet.se, 06 Dec 2012)
