General Interest

General
FATHERHOOD
He says becoming a father has changed his perspective on his handball career. "It [fatherhood] has changed my priorities and what I think is important. When we have lost a match, it does a lot to my mood to come home and get a smile from my daughter. The two at home are the most important thing to me. Family life fits in really well with my career in many ways. Many of my working days are quite short, so I feel lucky and privileged to be able to spend so much time with her." (olympicchannel.com, 24 Sep 2020)

NO SINGING
He does not sing the Danish national anthem before international matches. "I have been asked about it a few times but I have never done it, and that's what I feel most comfortable with. I also think that it's beautiful just to stand and enjoy it rather than destroying it with my own voice." (sport.tv2.dk, 21 Jan 2014)

HERITAGE
His father is Ghanaian. (politiken.dk, 24 Jan 2016)
