OVERSEAS EXPERIENCE
She spent the 2020/21 season on loan at Hungarian club Dunaujvarosi Kohasz KA. She said playing abroad provided important experience, but proved difficult being away from home. In March 2021, it was announced that she would return to parent club ZRK Buducnost. "It was really hard because I came through the system at Buducnost, they are my first team and always in my heart. Playing in Hungary was hard at first, but I am young and needed more league experience. Nowhere in the world has that Montenegrin mentality, the character we show on court. Accepting the different mentality was the hardest part for me, and that they play a different type of handball, but if you go to that country and want to play you need to adapt. During the COVID-19 pandemic it has been hard to live alone, without family in a different country, but I knew what I came for, I didn't think about anything else, I just wanted to play."
