EYES ON TOKYO
She says winning gold at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo is her main focus for the 2021 season. "Prior to 2016 we didn't even dream of being in the Olympics. Other athletes were dreaming about it since they were four, we dreamed about winning majors and then all of a sudden we have the chance of winning a gold medal. So I hope I'm back in 2021, the Olympics will trump the majors for preparation." (bbc.com, 25 May 2020)

DEALING WITH BEREAVEMENT
Her father Robert was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in late 2014 and died in May 2015. She took time out of the game during this period to help care for him. "It has been a challenging year of ups and downs but like any family who has a loss like that, you just have to deal with it and move on. Dad was a huge part of my golf game so that has definitely been a transition for me. It has been a bit of a struggle but it is in the past now. There are a lot more things than golf going on. FROM IRELAND TO UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
Born and raised in Jordanstown, Northern Ireland, she moved to the United States of America with her family at around age 13 so she could pursue a career as professional golfer. She attended the Haney International Golf Academy in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, between 2006 and 2010 before going on to attend the University of Alabama from 2010 to 2014.
