"Golf is a super difficult sport, but I think the best thing it has is that everyone has a shot. Never stop practising. Everyone has a chance, not like in other sports that perhaps reward the physique a lot; here with training and effort you can do anything." (pgatour.com, 29 Jun 2021)

PGA TOUR PROMOTION
In June 2021 he earned promotion to the PGA Tour after he won three events on the Korn Ferry Tour during the 2020/21 season. "This is crazy man, I didn't ever think I could win three times on this tour and now I've just won three times in one year and going to the PGA Tour. This is by far the best thing that I've done in my life. Chile's a small country. To have two Chileans on the PGA Tour [he and Joaquin Niemann], the biggest tour, it's something that maybe 10 years ago nobody thought about it. I just can't wait to get there and just to play the best I can. I hope it helps everybody in Chile to grow this game and to get more easy entrance to the game. I want to be more prepared for next season [2021/22]. I had really bad years. It is a sport that for the next 10, 20 years I will have to give my best. I think at one moment I flipped that switch and here we are." (pgatour.com, 30 Jun 2021, 29 Jun 2021, 06 Jun 2021; golfdigest.com, 13 Jun 2021)

COLLEGIATE CAREER
He attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX, United States of America, where he competed for one year in 2014/15 before turning professional in 2015. (pgatour.com, 30 Jun 2021; kltv.com, 23 Jun 2021)
