He received his first golf equipment at age eight. (rp.pl, 30 Nov 2020)

His father Andrzej played golf recreationally and introduced him to the sport. "As a child I did many sports. I played table tennis, volleyball, basketball, football and did skiing. I simply love sports. I guess that golf suits me best. In team sports, as a child, I was frustrated if someone didn't give the ball to me or didn't take a chance. I got into small and big conflicts. And in golf this kind of problem didn't exist. In golf I am responsible for everything - success is only mine, but I am also responsible for my defeats. I am made for individual sport. In golf, I also like the formula, competition with peers, training sessions - everything encouraged me to do this sport." (redbull.com, 04 May 2021; polityka.pl, 23 Oct 2016)

"I am a perfectionist. It's my disadvantage, but it also has a lot of benefits. I always want everything to be 100%, perfect. Therefore, I train for 100%. In golf you cannot reach perfection. It's impossible, there are too many variables. Every day a person feels differently, there are different weather conditions. There are no two exact same shots. To accept this I work with a psychologist, and I try to do things in the best way I can, but not expecting it to be perfect. Because golf is a game of errors." (tvp.pl, 21 Sep 2020)
