Born in Paris, France, to French parents, he was raised in Melbourne, VIC, Australia. He was on loan at Dutch Eredivisie club PEC Zwolle from his parent club Melbourne City during the 2018/19 season. "It had always been a dream to come back to Europe and to play. My father and I used to get up early in the mornings to watch European football and dreaming about being on that stage has always been a goal for me. I learned a lot in terms of football but also in life, where I was living away from home for the first time and to experience a new country and a new culture was great. Things went so fast when I first moved there, having to move into my own place, learn to cook, learn the language and I was playing regularly at the start, so everything was going so fast.
