He served as assistant coach of the US women's national team between 2015 and 2019. He had previously performed the same role for the US team at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. He coached Tyreso FF women's side in Sweden from 2012 to 2014, and has served as head coach of Swedish side Hammarby IF on two occasions [2006-09 and 2020]. He has also coached a number of other Swedish men's teams, as well as Kongsvinger in Norway.
