"I used to play both [rugby and football], but there was one year when I was about nine or 10 when it just didn't work out with timings. I'd train during the week with football and the games would be on a Saturday, but that's when rugby training was on, with tournaments on the Sunday. It's fair enough that if you don't turn up for the training, you can't play in the tournaments. I did that for a year and then decided that I preferred football." (thetimes.co.uk, 21 Apr 2019)
