CLUB CAREER
He began his football career with Team Wellington's youth team before transferring to Wellington Phoenix in July 2014. In August 2017 he moved to the United States of America to play for the University of Virginia. In January 2020 he signed for Norwegian team Viking FK. "It's been a bit of a change coming from the college system in America and the first couple of months took some time adjusting to the pro life. It was a bit weird finishing training and then you've got free time. The previous years of my life that's usually filled with studying." (transfermarkt.co.uk, 30 Jun 2021; stuff.co.nz, 27 Dec 2020; New Zealand Football YouTube channel, 04 Feb 2021)

EDUCATION
He majored in psychology at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA, United States of America. His mother sparked his interest in psychology and he was also intrigued by the link between psychology and sport. "I saw the relationship between psychology and sport. I started pursuing it and really enjoyed it." He also took modules in German and drama. "I thought it would be something fun to take and something different from psychology, in that you're not sitting there taking notes. You're just getting up and acting, which is a little outside my comfort zone." (news.virginia.edu, 21 Nov 2019)
