CONFIDENT AGAIN
She joined French club Montpellier HSC in 2017 but says her confidence dropped after spending most of her second season there on the bench. In 2019 she returned to her previous club Linkopings, in Sweden. She says scoring in the semifinal of the 2019 World Cup in France helped her regain self-belief. "It was tough. As a football player, you want to play as much as possible. My confidence wasn't very good when I came back from [Montpellier HSC] so I have had to work quite a lot on that. Wallin Tornberg [Sweden's national team psychologist] has been there when I needed him. But mostly I've worked on it on my own. The goal against Canada [at the 2019 World Cup] gave me a lot of confidence. I don't think I would have even dreamt about talking about a World Cup semifinal."
