NEW CLUB
In April 2020 she signed with German Frauen-Bundesliga club FC Bayern Munich, having played the previous two seasons with Paris Saint-Germain in the French Division 1 Feminine. "I chose FC Bayern because it is a large club that wants to win titles. That motivates me a lot. The club and the coach have shown a very sincere interest in me for a long time, which was also crucial. I see the club as the emerging power in German and international football." (bavarianfootballworks.com, 14 Apr 2020)

INJURIES
After sustaining a third anterior cruciate ligament [ACL] injury to her knee, her doctor recommended that she retire from football. She went against the advice and continues to play, but says she tries to look after her body better. "The third injury was the toughest. I had a meeting with my doctor who said I should quit. It was tough to hear. But I felt I had more to give and I wanted to see how far I could get, so the risk was worth it for me. I stop sometimes and reflect, 'Oh, how cool that I can still play'. At the same time I am very careful to take care of my body with food, sleep and preventive exercise." (zeyuw.com, 20 Aug 2019; fifa.com, 11 Jun 2019; expressen.se, 11 Mar 2019)
