General Interest

General
TATTOO
She has a tattoo on her right leg of the coordinates of the Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It is where she secured a sliver medal with Sweden at the 2016 Olympic Games. "It's the centre of the pitch. The Olympic Games in Rio were probably the high point of my career." (fifa.com, 06 May 2019)

FAMILY INSPIRATION
When she was at age eight her elder sister was troubled with drug addiction. She says the way her parents managed to take care of her and her sister through the situation has shaped her into a better athlete. "It was like pure hell. And then our parents became the strongest, but they had to go through so much and fight so hard. I saw the frustration and how they always tried to maintain some kind of facade. This is probably why I have always wanted to be perfect." (aftonbladet.se, 19 Aug 2019)

TEAM CAPTAIN
She was first named captain of the Swedish national team in 2008. In 2012 she was named joint captain, before being named sole captain again in 2017. "I am a leader and a player who has been around for a long time and with all my routine I try to help as much as I can."
