CAREER BREAKS
She has taken two breaks during her career due to family reasons. She took her first break from the sport at age 21 in order to start a family. After giving birth to her son Bernardo in 2009, she returned to the sport in 2011 to join Atletico Mineiro in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. However, she decided to take another break from football in order to take care of her son because her husband Cesar Roberto Dantas de Britto [better known as Cesinha] was playing professional football in another region of Brazil. In 2013 her husband joined a club in Sao Bernardo do Campo in the Sao Paulo region of Brazil, which enabled her to return to the sport, joining Centro Olimpico in Sao Paulo. She returned to the national team in the same year, and in 2015 the family moved to Denmark so she could join Danish Elitedivisionen club Fortuna Hjorring. "When we had the chance to be together she was always by my side. So when I had the chance to do the same for her, I did not hesitate," said her husband Cesar.
