TOUGH TIMES
She and her older sister spent time in an orphanage as children before being raised by their aunt Maria Francisca from the age of three. She experienced disciplinary issues at school and the deaths of her close friend and sister at age 16, but says she was able to live a more positive life thanks to her aunt. "I was a rebel as a girl and I got into trouble at school. I had plenty of options and I could have made a bad choice, something bad. One month after my friend died, my older sister also died [in 2016]. Both due to drugs. My sister also played football, so I think that by playing I can make her dream come true as well. If I had something to say to my aunt it would be, 'Thank you'. If I am here today it is because of her. If she hadn't taught me the right way, to meet people who I should trust, I don't think I would be here." (G14 YouTube channel, 09 Jun 2019; uol.com.br, 22 Jun 2019; rainhasdodribble.com, 09 Nov 2020)

COACHING PLANS
She says she aspires to work as a football coach in Brazil after she was inspired by her former coach Emily Lima, who coached her during her time at Juventus in Sao Paulo, Brazil. "Emily was like a mother for me. I talked with her about everything. I dream about returning to Brazil to become a coach because of her. I also dream to see her working in Europe."
