He made his first senior appearance for Gremio against Internacional in 2019 due to illness affecting the other goalkeepers in the squad. "It was an amazing day. I was 19 years old, and in fact it was not only Julio [starting goalkeeper] but Paulo Victor [reserve goalkeeper] too and some other players of the team who got sick pretty badly. So I got this opportunity and it was a remarkable day for me, it was excellent.
