ON LOAN
He was on loan at Korean K League 2 club Seoul E-Land from his parent club Ulsan Hyundai during the 2020 season. He was previously on loan at Japanese J2 League club V-Varen Nagasaki during the 2019 season. (kleagueunited.com, 05 Feb 2020; newsis.com, 29 Jan 2020; v-varen.com, 09 Dec 2019)

HEALTH AWARD
In 2017 he was presented with the Minister of Health and Welfare Award in the Republic of Korea for administering cardiopulmonary resuscitation [CPR] on the pitch to his teammate Jeong Tae-Wook. Jeong lost consciousness after colliding with an opponent during a match against Zambia in 2017, and Lee administered CPR on the pitch before he was treated by medical staff. Jeong later regained consciousness in hospital. "He was in a really serious condition, so I only thought about dislodging his tongue. I hurt my finger because Jeong bit me while he was unconscious. I was surprised at the unexpected prize. I need to win a prize by playing soccer as well." (en.yna.co.kr, 11 Apr 2017; chosun.com, 05 Apr 2017; edaily.co.kr, 03 Apr 2017)
