OVERSEAS EXPERIENCE
In May 2020 she relocated to the United States of America to join National Women's Soccer League [NWSL] club OL Reign. In August 2020 she was loaned to Swedish club Linkoping, before returning to her parent club in 2021. "In March 2020 I received an offer from the club [OL Reign] when we had the national training camp in United States of America. It wasn't easy for me to make a decision following the postponement of the 2020 Olympics and the suspension of the [Japanese] league, but I always wanted to play overseas. Some people told me that it might be better for me to maintain my form while playing as part of my preparations for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, and I agreed with them. However, I had a strong desire to play against stronger and faster players every day, after having three matches in United States of America." (Tokyo Verdy YouTube channel, 22 May 2020; olreign.com, 24 Jun 2021; verdy.co.jp, 22 May 2021; Instagram profile, 13 Sep 2020, 15 Mar 2021; web.ultra-soccer.jp, 10 Apr 2021)

UNIVERSITY
She combined her sporting career with her studies at Keio University in Tokyo, Japan, until she graduated from the university in 2018. "There were four reasons that I wanted to study at university, to improve my performance, to contribute to the Japanese women's football scene, to learn other languages including English, and to take on a new challenge. But above all, I wanted to expand my potential while getting involved in both study and sports." (note.com, 06 Dec 2018; web.gekisaka.jp, 16 May 2019; u-29.com, 04 Jan 2021)
