His younger sister Tamar has represented Israel in fencing at junior international level and won bronze in individual sabre at the 2020 European Cadet Championships in Porec, Croatia. His partner Yana Botvinik has also represented Israel in fencing and competed in individual and team epee at the 2019 World Championships in Budapest, Hungary.
