HIP PROBLEMS
She has a malformation in her hip that causes recurrent problems with her femur. "I've been able to manage the pain but I have to deal with it. Every day, I'm forced to train harder than the rest in order to strengthen my hip. It's a handicap but my sport gives me so much pleasure." (leparisien.fr, 18 Jun 2019)

OCCUPATION
In October 2020 she began working at the Seine-Saint-Denis department government in France. She is part of the education and youth section, where she deals with financial and budget management. "For me it's an ideal situation because I can combine both my sporting and professional careers. FROM GUADELOUPE TO FRANCE
Born in Guadeloupe, she relocated to continental France in 2009 to join the youth national training centre in Aix-en-Provence. (leparisien.fr, 18 Jun 2019)

2012 OLYMPIC REPLACEMENT
She was selected as a replacement for the French team that went to the 2012 Olympic Games in London. She did get a chance to compete during the tournament, coming on for Ysaora Thibus in the bronze medal match against the Republic of Korea. France lost the tie 22-10. (franceantilles.fr, 2012)
