She runs Laura Collett Eventing out of Penhill Farm in Cheltenham, England. She previously spent four years based at Membury Estate in Berkshire, England, and then five years at Windy Hollow Stables in Lambourn, England, before relocating to Penhill Farm in 2018. RACEHORSES
She trains racehorses as well as jumping horses. Owners send their horses to her to improve their jumping. "Some horses come and stay at my yard for a week or 10 days, however long it takes really. With others, they just bring them in for the day. I really enjoy doing it, because I like to make a difference and with the racehorses, you really do feel like you can make a big difference in a very small space of time. I love it, I get a real buzz out of watching them produce it on the track." (racingtv.com, 29 Mar 2020)

VISUAL ADJUSTMENT
She lost the sight in one eye following a serious fall in 2013. "My peripheral vision was not the same. I was lucky that the horses I rode after my accident were quite experienced. If my sight does happen to come back in that eye, I'll have to readjust but you adapt to it and that is the way you have to be." (eventingconnect.today, 26 Nov 2014)
