"The boys were really quite into water sports, like surf lifesaving, swimming, water polo. We approached the pool for a fun, come-along, have-a-go session for diving, me and my sister. And then we were invited to join the A development squad. I guess we all enjoyed it, so I just kept going. He was named Most Valuable Diver at the 2021 Atlantic Coast Conference [ACC] Championships in Greensboro, NC, United States of America, while representing the University of North Carolina. COVID-19 EXPERIENCE
In 2020 he tested positive for COVID-19 in the United States of America after returning from New Zealand. "It was really scary getting that positive test result back. I would be lying if I said that I'm not a little bit worried to see if I have any health issues that arise in the future. I actually did see a really big effect on my respiratory system coming back to training. I got out of breath so fast, physically I felt, for like two or three months, I just felt nowhere near my peak performance.
