Leung Bo Yee and Pang Yao have competed as a pair at two editions of the world championships, recording a DNF in 2019 in Pruszkow and placing 14th in 2020 in Berlin. They are yet to finish on the podium together at a major tournament, but came close when finishing fourth at the 2019 Asian Championships in Jakarta.

Pang won silver with Yang Qianyu at the 2018 Asian Games in Indonesia. The same duo also claimed gold at the 2020 Asian Championships in the Republic of Korea, which took place in October 2019 because of the qualification timeline for the 2020 Olympic Games.

Leung and Yang competed as a pair at the 2018 Asian Championships in Nilai, placing fourth.
