Benjamin Thomas and Donavan Grondin's only appearance together at a major tournament came at the 2020 World Championships in Berlin, where they were ranked sixth.

Thomas has had international success with other riders and was world champion in madison in 2017, claiming gold alongside Morgan Kneisky. He also won a European title with Florian Maitre in 2017 in Berlin.
