His favourite event is the team time trial in track cycling because teamwork is key. "The interaction in a foursome is everything. If a team is not well organised it falls apart, like a derailed train. The harmony that is among us is now our strongest point because we blindly trust each other. Any time we go on the track is a new challenge. My teammate Liam Bertazzo always tells us ,'It's the race of our lives.' By now we should have already raced about 20 'races of our lives.' But we always manage to find a way of competing without any sort of pressure. Our coach Marco Villa also gives us a big hand." (oasport.it, 17 Dec 2019)
