POWER DATA
She was signed for Dutch team SD Worx in 2021 based on her power data. "Emma [Trott, British Cycling Academy coach] was in contact with Danny Stam, [director at Boels-Dolmans, now SD Worx], and he was looking for some young riders to develop. He looked at my power data and training and it was from that that I signed. It was a little bit early but I didn't want to pass up on that opportunity, it's what I wanted to do. I was a bit nervous about being signed simply off my power data, but he was happy how I went at the [2020 World Championships in Imola, Italy] as well." (cyclingweekly.com, 05 Dec 2020)

UNIVERSITY PLANS
In 2020 she moved from Milngavie in Scotland to Manchester to be a part of British Cycling's Performance Pathway Academy. She has since signed for Dutch team SD Worx, although she has ambitions to study chemistry at university in the future. "I want to go to university at some point because I applied, and got in, but then decided to focus on cycling. I definitely want to go back for a degree in chemistry at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. I know that in cycling you retire early, relatively, and it's good to have a back up."
